Copywriting consultancy

Content & copywriting for complex
organisations

We turn complex expertise into writing people can understand, trust and act on. From websites and thought leadership to reports and pitches, we find the argument, get the detail right and make every word earn its place.

Not all content is created equal.

Some copywriting carries disproportionate weight: a website that defines your relationship with your audience, an article on which you're staking your reputation, a white paper presented to a buying committee or a proposal that determines whether a project is won or lost.

When the audience is informed, the subject matter is complex and accuracy isn't optional, competent writing alone isn't enough. Great content requires judgement, structure and a clear understanding of what matters most.

That's the copywriting work we do at Antelope Media.

We bridge the gap between what your organisation knows and your audience understands.

Every engagement is led by senior consultants with backgrounds in law, journalism, academia and global advertising. We combine strategic thinking, editorial expertise and subject-matter understanding to help organisations communicate with credibility and influence.

When clients call us

When the content has to do more than fill a page

Clients usually come to us when the subject is difficult, the content matters and the underlying problem can't be solved by simply producing more words.

Content in action

Difficult subjects. Demanding audiences. Content that holds up.

Our work ranges from global thought leadership and major institutional reports to connected content platforms. What these projects share is the need to understand the subject deeply before deciding how to tell the story.

Why Antelope Media

The difference is in the thinking

When anyone can generate competent copy, value comes from understanding the subject, recognising what matters and exercising judgement over every word.

01

We understand before we write

We interview your experts, interrogate the source material and get sufficiently deep into the subject to find the idea, argument or explanation worth communicating.

02

We’re built for complexity

Our backgrounds in law, journalism, academia and global advertising help us handle difficult subject matter, demanding stakeholders and content that must remain accurate under scrutiny.

03

Judgement, not just volume

AI can produce words quickly. We determine what should be said, how it should be structured and whether the finished content is accurate, distinctive and capable of influencing its audience.

Our process

Every content and copywriting engagement we take on follows the same principle: understand the issue before writing the content.

Intake & Alignment

Short strategy call + intake pack. Goals, audience, constraints all aligned up front so we move fast and in the right direction.

Deep Dive

We interrogate the material like researchers, examining data, audience behaviour, competitor signals and brand voice to identify what will build credibility and trust.

Strategy & Structure

Frameworks, narratives, angles and drafts built in parallel, tested against your goals. Precision over volume - no juniors, no outsourcing.

Create & Refine

Flagship content packaged to deploy: clearly structured, insight-driven and ready to use across channels.

Aftercare

Optional rollout guidance, repurposing plans and workshops. We help your content keep working, not gather dust.

Confidential by default. Happy to sign an NDA on request. All outputs are yours on payment.

Who leads the work

Senior people doing the thinking and the writing

Antelope Media’s content engagements are led by founders Ralph Grayden and Emma Sorensen: senior strategists, copywriters and content designers with backgrounds spanning law, journalism, academia, publishing and global advertising.

Ralph is a former commercial lawyer turned journalist, advertising copywriter and content strategist. He specialises in work where the subject is complex, the audience is demanding and the consequences of misunderstanding it are real.

Emma is an experienced journalist, editor and university educator with particular expertise in interviews, institutional storytelling, research and impact reporting. She turns evidence and human experience into coherent narratives that retain both accuracy and emotional force.

Depending on the engagement, they work individually, together or with other writers: directly with leadership teams, subject-matter experts and internal communications teams. There are no layers of account management and no handover to juniors.

Frequently asked questions about our content work

How we handle complex subjects, sensitive information, AI and deadlines.

What kinds of content do you write?

We work on content where expertise has to be understood and trusted: websites, thought leadership, reports, articles, executive content, pitches and other important communications. We can work from an established brief or help decide what the piece needs to say before writing starts.

Can you write about technical or unfamiliar subjects?

Yes. We read the source material, interview the people who know the subject and work out what the audience needs to understand. Our job is to make specialist knowledge clear and useful without stripping away the detail that makes it accurate.

Do you use AI for this work?

Selectively. AI can help us explore a subject, identify gaps, test structure or speed up suitable routine tasks. We decide where its use is appropriate for the project and handle sensitive information accordingly.

Strategy, claims, voice and final editorial decisions remain with experienced consultants. That matters most for Critical Content: work that shapes reputation, influences decisions or carries risk. We also teach organisations how to use AI with appropriate review and controls.

Can you work with sensitive or confidential material?

Yes. We regularly work with law firms, government agencies, financial services organisations and other clients handling sensitive material. We can agree confidentiality arrangements, including an NDA, before you share it and work within the review requirements of your organisation.

How long does a content project take?

It depends on the amount of research, the number of people we need to interview and the review process. A single article is a different engagement from a website or report. Tell us the deadline and what material you already have; we’ll scope the work backwards from there and tell you what we can realistically deliver.

What kinds of organisations get the most value from Antelope Media?

Organisations with substantial expertise, demanding audiences and something meaningful at stake. Our work spans legal, financial services, government, universities, professional services, property and infrastructure. We’re particularly useful when the brief requires us to understand the subject and help shape the argument, rather than simply fill a word count.
